When I first read the brief I was excited about the breadth of detail we could go into with our work as the term 'Good' is so open. However the word 'Good' seems to be used far to regularly in everyday life, but do we really understand what 'Good' means? I'm sat at my laptop thinking to myself how many times per day I use the word 'good', If you constantly repeat the word, It sort of subconsciously looses meaning.
Origin Of the word word 'Good';
When trying to find the origin of the word good I found it really hard to find a direct source to its creation or when it became in use within the English Language. One reference to the word is from the 15th century as an expression of satisfaction, of children, "well-behaved," 1690s.
Other sources claimed that Old English gōd, of Germanic origin; related to Dutch goed and German gut, which originally probably translated "is worthy of".
